Boat Cleaning & Dive Service Questions
Answers about hull cleaning frequency, underwater access, estimates, anode replacement, service reports and scheduling with Aquanauts.
How often should my hull be cleaned?
The right interval depends on your boat, bottom coating, location, use, and observed growth. We review these details before recommending one-time or recurring care.
Can you work while my boat is in the water?
Our underwater services are planned for boats at suitable docks or marinas. We confirm access and conditions before scheduling. Some concerns may require a haul-out or another specialist.
Do I need to be there?
We can discuss service while you are away when access, permissions, scope, and any equipment isolation arrangements have been agreed in advance.
Do you replace anodes without asking?
Replacement parts and extra work require approval. We record anode findings and confirm the proposed parts and cost before proceeding.
What happens if weather changes?
Conditions can affect safe access and visibility. Our team will coordinate a revised visit and explain changes to the schedule.
What do I receive after service?
A record of the completed work and relevant findings, with photos or videos when included in your agreed scope. You receive an invoice and a receipt once payment is confirmed.
How much does service cost?
Request a FREE quote. We review your boat, size, condition, requested work, and location, then provide an estimate for approval. Additional work is reviewed separately.
Can I book a one-time cleaning?
Yes. We review one-time requests as well as recurring maintenance. Availability and scope are confirmed before scheduling.
How does the referral offer work?
Tell us who referred you. After the new customer’s first hull cleaning is completed and paid, both customers earn one 5% discount on a future hull cleaning. It applies to eligible cleaning charges only, excludes parts and other services, does not stack with another referral reward, and does not expire.
Do you guarantee recovery of lost items?
No. Search success depends on conditions and the information available. We agree on the search scope and limits before starting.
Is all of your work below the waterline?
Yes. Aquanauts specializes in underwater services. Boat maintenance covers submerged hulls and equipment; dock, piling, and seawall cleaning covers submerged surfaces only.
